I arrived a day early for a 7 day cruise. I didn't want to spend much money and I wanted something close to the airport. I took public transportation from the airport to the hotel for *. The staff assumed I was with another guest and did not address me. I had to ask him for the guest reservation forms. The kys have the room number written on them and the front desk attendant publicizes your room number through out the lobby area. My room had a window that did not secure and could be opened from outside. The internet did not work even though I called and specifically asked if they had internet service. A side from the safety concerns the room was clean.

Coral by the Sea Hotel worked well for my recent trip to PR. This is a basic hotel that is about 2 blocks from the ocean on Isla Verde, not as close to Condado as I thought it would be. Staff were nice and helpful, parking is limited. Bus stop is located next door to hotel and convenient to use to go into Old San Juan. Probably would not stay there again, but only because I would like to be closer to Condado, but again for the price, it worked out very well.

the hotel was great. and the service was wonderful. i will be staying there again. great for someone that doesnt care about a 5 star hotel. located in the center of just about everything, or close to it all. 2 great restaurunts to serve you. with helpful and friendly staff. looking forward to my next stay there.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I was 3rd in line to check in and it took about 45 minutes to get checked in. The room is like a prison cell - it's a plain bed, door didn't latch. The TV was the newest thing in the room and that was the only nice thing about the room I can say. It is close to walking distance to the beach, casinos and food. Food can be very expensive so be careful. In the US this hotel should be no more than $29 per night. My recommendation is spend the money and stay somewhere else. I woke up with bug bites up and down my arm here as well.

The room was clean, front desk very friendly,but we would not saty there again. We were not satisfied, the view from our room was broken down cars and ripped up fencing. We didn't sleep under the covers. Who recommends the hotels? They need to take this one off of the site. As my husband says,"It reminded us of a flop house."
